Pukki eyes Prem return

Teemu Pukki wants a Premier League return after leaving Norwich.

The Finland striker leaves Carrow Road as a free agent after scoring 88 times in 210 games for the Canaries, who could only finish 13th in the Championship this term.

He said: “Obviously offers are going to come in in the summer and I will decide but I am open to a lot of things.

“If there is a Premier League club that wants me that could be an option but we’ll see. I believe I have two, maybe three years left in the tank. I need something else for the last couple of years before it is all done.

“I don’t know yet what this is going to be – and I need a holiday first. I probably won’t answer my agent for a couple of weeks. If he calls for some other stuff I will be interested but not football!”

Liverpool set for overhaul

After a season of turmoil, Jurgen Klopp is set to embark on a major overhaul of his beleaguered Liverpool squad this summer.

Less than 12 months after the Reds saw their hopes of clinching an unprecedented quadruple dashed, Klopp’s men are fighting to qualify for next year’s Champions League. But regardless of whether or not they bag a top-four finish or not, big changes are coming at Anfield.

And it’s not just incoming deals that Klopp and the Anfield hierarchy will have their sights on this summer, with a whole raft of players set to leave Merseyside for good in the coming months.
