This version doesn’t beat Bivol or Benavidez

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez made it clear that he is looking for a rematch with Dmitry Bivol, who defeated him in 2022, after defeating John Ryder by unanimous decision in Guadalajara.

He also accepted that if a new fight with the Russian boxer does not materialize, David Benavidez is an option for his next fight.

Given these statements, David Faitelson, a constant critic of Canelo Alvarez, considers that the Mexican could not beat either of the two opponents he mentioned.

“This version of Canelo doesn’t beat either Dimitri Bivol or David Benavidez,” the ESPN analyst posted on Twitter.

While the next opponent for the Mexican fighter is being decided and arranged, there will continue to be echoes about Canelo‘s victory over Ryder, which was not by knockout, but by unanimous decision.
